The Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, Massouda Bahham Mohamed Lagthf, held talks on Monday, September 1, 2025, with the Egyptian Ambassador to Mauritania, Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Hamid Tayeh, to discuss enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of environment and sustainable development.
The meeting was attended by Ahmed Hamada Al-Zein, chargé de mission at the ministry, and Nabila Dahmoud Marzouq, the advisor in charge of communication and environmental awareness. An agreement was reached to develop partnership prospects that serve the common interests of both countries.
