President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani launched, Friday morning, August 1st, 2025, from Nouakchott West Wilaya, the events of the #National Tree Week, organized this year under the slogan: #Let’s Work Together for a Green Mauritania
This environmental event comes within the context of #Environmental Protection and mitigating the effects of #Climate Change, coinciding with the start of the implementation of the #Afforestation and #Aerial Sowing program aimed at strengthening #Vegetation Cover and combating #Desertification.
The planned activities during this week include various awareness and practical activities, aimed at stimulating the participation of citizens and institutions in #Planting Trees and establishing a culture of #Sustainability in various regions of the country.
